Police hunt suspect Barach Bandavad after woman murdered in Bristol

Police are tonight hunting Barach Bandavad after a woman was murdered in Bristol.
Detectives released this image of Bandavad in the hope that someone can lead officers to him but urged the public not to approach him and call 999 if he is spotted.
A murder inquiry was launched after a woman in her 50s died in Horfield today.
She was assaulted in Highbury Road at around midday and fatally injured.
The scene was immediately cordoned off as forensic experts searched the scene for clues.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Crisp, who is leading the murder investigation, said: "This was a tragic and isolated incident in which a woman has needlessly lost her life.
"A team of officers are currently working to locate Barach Bandavad and I would appeal to anyone who may know where he is to come forward and speak to us.
"I would also like to advise the public not to approach him and call police on 999 immediately should you see him."
Police have not yet named the woman who died but have stressed all information will be treated in confidence.
Bandavad, who is 35 and with a chubby face, was last seen wearing dark jogging bottoms and a blue or grey woollen hat.
He is said to be roughly shaven.
DCI Crisp said: "A scene will remain in place at Highbury Road into tomorrow; I would like to take this opportunity to thank residents in the area their cooperation and patience."
